Well first off i believe this is my first post. As i am a newb. Lol.
Anyways i was looking for info on swaping an ls based motor into my 84 swb c10. Im really interested in doing it.
Just dont know where to start expect for buying the motor, tranny, and harness.

I'm doing a 5.3 into a 1948 as we speak. I bought a 5.3 from a local wrecking yard for $1000 with all accessories included. Others may find it cheaper elsewhere. As is always the case your mileage may vary.
I already had a transmission that was built so no extra cost for me there.
I am using a ford 8.8 rear end with disc brakes and a posi. Only $300 at a local yard for that with everything included. Suspension kit was $500 to hang it, though.
I'll know more when I get to it...
