Time for a 6 month update? hehehe

The truck is still in storage for a little while longer. I'm building a shop, which is nearing completion now. Once done, I'll finally get the project truck home and get this thing rolling. I've just been sitting back collecting parts for the past few months trying to make some decisions on the drive train. As it stands right now, I'll probably get it running with an LS1 motor and a Radix that I've got stashed in the garage. I'm still searching for a transmission. I do have a AWD transfer case and 4L65 transmission, but this truck will probably stay 2WD. I'll just save those parts to do a Jeep Wrangler conversion in the future.

Default 69 chevy short bed

Nice truck. I've got a 69 short bed truck. My father inlaw has a 6.0 litre out of a 2001 C-3. I want to put it in the 69 does any body have any experiance in putting this newwer style motor in an old truck. Any help would be appreciated. I don't know if there might be a conversion kit out or what please help.

You still planning on doing a newer frame on it or are you going to stick with the stock frame?

That is going to be awesome. That is definitely my favorite body style of all time. Congratulations and good luck.
