Newbie here LQ4 in 72 GMC

Thanks guys. Been doing the computer research lately. I'm thinking about keeping my 200 4r trans. I already have in the truck. Just don't know if I will need a torque convertor adapter. I'm thinking about buying the Edelbrock 65173 headers, too. And the Turnkey harness. Here's some pics.

you'll need an adapter. gm, hughes, tci, I think they all have something. Pace has a package.

BTW...if you need a MSD 88862 I have one unwrapped and in the box.

Seats are out of a 03 Tahoe. Heated, Leather, memory. Thanks!!

Adapter as in computer adapter or actual some sort of adapter plate for flywheel?

Here's the Hughes spacer...it gives info on the flexplate, link below:

I know there was a "adapter/flexplate package" in the latest catalog. I'll try to find it for you.

OK...here's the Pace kit, its PAC-1399: retro flex kit


or you can get a SFI setup for just under $200 with PAC-4004
