Got any pics of the rear suspension?

I have never seen UCA's in a 60-72 only LCA's. The LCA's start from almost center of the frame about the rear of the cab and angle outwards towards the axle ends. The rearend actually sits on top of the arms. There is a coil that sits between the frame and the LCA's. From what I am understanding you are saying yours is different?

Here is what I am talking about shown in an LMC catalop. This is for 67-72.

Here is the LMC stuff for 60-66.. Same thing.

I think the fourth picture is the best... that's just my opinion. That's a good lookin' truck--bet it sounds good too.

Is it 450 to the wheels? Who cares, that's just cool.

hey man I just read this and found out one of my good friends got my pass word and decided it would be funny to act like me. So I apologize for him giving you the wrong information on my rearend. OK now yes the link you posted is exactly what my rearend looks like, the coil spring might be a Bell Tech lowering spring so i'll ask the guy I bought it from

4 bar setup.. It will not ride as smooth as the current truck arm setup due to more connection points causing potential bind issues. Secondly, having the 4 bar paralel your instant center of gravity will change dramatially. I bet your 60's would be slower due to less antisquat.

Now if you built it 4 link style you could adjust for more antisquat and probably improve your 60's but again ride quality will suffer some.

Take a look at my Camaro's set up. I did a 3 link in it. It will still have the articulation and real no bind issues helping ride quality. It can also be adjusted to have a lot of antisquat helping plant those rear tires. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=644613

This is the route I would go if I ever changed the rear suspension around in my truck.
