Default Syclone, Operation: "Quick Brick"

Taking a slightly modded, "low" mileage Syclone, to the street/race borderline.

Numbers...

Starting:

262 cubic inches
9.4:1 compression ratio
.390 total lift
165 cfm heads
32 lb/hr fuel injectors
15 psi of boost
130 degrees IAT
1.85 secs 60ft
14.0 quarter mile ET

Finishing:

287 cubic inches
8.5:1 compression ratio
.575 total lift
250 cfm heads
65 lb/hr fuel injectors
22 psi of boost
50 degree IAT
72 mm turbocharger

To be determined:

*** horsepower
*** 60ft
*** 1/4 mile ET

well, the cam was delivered yesterday. after reading the card, and adjusting the lift for my rocker ratio.

looks like it'll be just shy of .600 full lift.

I got all the bottom end parts in from the race shops. I'm gonna start bottom end assembly, next week. (after Daytona weekend).

Still waiting on the heads.

But dont worry, i'll post plenty of pictures cause i'm dong the build myself.

it is a 4.3, but I would never touch it. It always interested me because it's different. I've seen a few twin turbo and blown V6's and it's just different.

Brandon,

How's the project coming along? I haven't seen anything lately on PS or here.
