Oh man, that looks damn good. What calipers did you have to use because I have a ECSB and I already have the larger front brakes on it factory, the piston is like 2 15/16" I think.

will be waiting a while to do t56 swap. like, at least 3 months. next projects: e-fans, camaro accessory brackets (hopefully get ac working) with underdrive pulleys, and true dual exhaust with headers; all of which should either give performance without taking too much from efficiency or actually boost efficiency (hopefully the latter). my 4x4 rearend is definitely limited slip, finally got the 20s to spin . gotta roll the fenders though, i already cut the front driver's tire twice... what a bummer... they were perfect tires, and i gotta beat the inner fenders a little.... i'll always have to be careful in turns however. I haven't gotten enough ***** to really fly through the corners yet, but the bilstein monotubes are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... pn AK2083, truck is on rails, but has good ride quality over bumps, belltech rear leafs are nice, they have some give in them. and the monroe 4x4 gas shocks on the rear that came with rearend are pretty decent. gonna get another set of bilsteins for the rear

bigred, i had to use 92-98 calipers for the belltech pn 2500 spindles. they are the 'big brake' spindles, cause GM doesn't make a 6 lug 1" rotor... i looked all over the place, couldn't find one... would have saved me some money on buying more spindles. if you wanted to do the same, you'd need the rearend, new rotors with 6 lug for a C2500 7200GVW truck (9600LB GVW C2500 truck is 8 lug) and that is really it. you'd want belltech spindles though, cause you'd want the wheels to be pushed out some in the front cause the backspacing is 5.25" on SS rims. just do some general measuring to get a feel for it. but, if you were using other 6 lug rims, you'd have to be careful, the 4x4 rear is like 3" wider, but everything else is the same

it looks even better from the front with the wheels turned all the way to one side... i'm taking another photo tomorrow in the light.

and the 3.73 upgrade was well worth it. all this because someone hit me . they bent the rim and axle, got $600, but spent about $1000-1100 ... can't help myself...

oh, and i gotta get a new master cylinder... the one for the 'small brakes' isn't pushing enough on the bigger calipers, so it's back to work for me

but, you know i want to change something . i want to bypass the crappy ABS module, anybody done this? what brake lines should i look for?

If it was me, I would try and do the hydroboost swap on it if it is at all possible, I've been thinking about trying on my truck.

hmmm... yes, i suppose it's possible if you mean to tell me that i can do it to my '91? i think i'm in this truck for the long haul... i like it, and dont' like the payments of a new truck and will likely tune the TPI intake with LS1 PCM for E85 fuel, so i guess i'll be driving this thing long enough to do something like a hydroboost swap. i didn't know anything about it, just googled a little... do you have a really good link with all necessary parts? thanks!

ok, edit:

so, i see people doing it on trucks with LS1 engines, i suppose i can do this on my '91 with a GenI 350? stock power steering? stock gear box? etC?

Not off hand, I work for Zone so when I go back to work, I'll dig deep and find out if everything will match up for an OBS. I'm getting back into redoing my 91 after purchaing my 04 Sierra.
