Default Weight of a '98?

Hi guys, I'm looking for the approximate weight of a '98 RCSB 4x4? Thanks.

ill throw an educated guess out there of 5,500-5,750lbs

Where are you getting these numbers at?? The obs trucks weight less then the nbs.nnbs trucks do

I'd say somewhere in the 4500 lb. range. My truck weighs about 4900 with a quarter tank of gas, and it's newer, and an ext. cab.

Im comfused u said the obs were lighter, my truck (obs) is a rcswb stepside and its 5k with me in its a 2wd, its been a long time since i weighed it but it was either 4000 or 5000 with my weight deducted, guess i need to get back on the scales since i ripped alot of stuff out..... so the newer trucks are lighter or heavier?

The obs trucks are lighter then nbs or nnbs trucks.. I think the v6 rcsb trucks are like 3900 or so..

The curb weight of the truck is as low as 3,801 lbs. for the base model with a manual transmission. The curb weight gets as heavy as 4,599 lbs. The overall length of the truck varies as there are three different size beds for this truck.
