The truck for me would be a strict summer truck. So it would be nice for a/c. But guess there isn't too many ways around it. What headers did you go with for clearance? Or did you not have an issue?

To be honest I don't remember what kind of headers they are. They are shorty headers. If I'm not mistaken the frame is wider in the front on the z71's I'm guessing that's why I didn't have any trouble.

I believe if I converted my truck to 2wd and moved the engine forward just a little I could run the LS A/C compressor. I plan to get some measurements later this week when i'm off work.

Did the escalade gauges plug right in to the factory? And are the blue lights okay at night or are they distracting cause the color?

The gauges are simple swap. Old one's out new one's in. The lights aren't much brighter than factory there just really BLUE which is what I wanted.

Did you do the climate control bulbs blue too?
