Default Older body on newer frame.

I was told that the body from a '65-ish F-100 with a wide frame would drop right on the frame for my '93.

Anyone know that for sure? This would save me a LOT of heartache should I move back to CA.

Are you thinking of taking the body off of your BB truck Jeff?

Yep. It's either that or sell it. It's not going back west.

As a '93 it's not remotely smog legal. As a '65, I don't have to worry about it. There're no significant race events for late models back west, but there are for classics. So, if I don't convert it, I end up with something that I can't drive and can't race - except for the occasional bracket event and it makes absolutely no sense as a bracket racer. If I do convert it, I have something I can cruise and race. It opens up events like Good Guys, Hot August Nights, etc.

I'll probably sell it anyway, it was just an idea.
