Propain injection and a PPE tune. That should smack the ford.

GM for the win...my cousins crewcab HD LB7 with an HPT tune done by him rolling on 35s and a full tank of fuel just pulled a 13.61 @ 99mph over the weekend. All he has done is the tune and his muffler removed and replaced with strait pipe.

My dad has the smarty on his cummins, and it was stacked with a powerpuck(I think), and that gave him the best results. I think he had the Edge at one time, but was used with the smarty to help the low end.

i dont think the powerstroke is going to beat him anymore. He got the hot unlock code for stg. 6 and now he runs a 14.5 in the 1/4.

Im not sure, he dosent have a pyrometer and i dont know if the edge evolution lets you monitor egts. I need to ask and see, I kno when he goes to the track he'll make a couple of passes and then let it cool down for a while.

he better pay attention to those EGT's as the "hot" unlock on the edge tends to run very hot from what i have seen on some cummins with it. I know the guy down the street i always talk to says he will hit 1400 degrees quick with his on the "hot" unlock and he has a bigger turbo and FASS fuel setup.

I still say ditch that Edge, and get the Smarty and he can have all the power he wants with it cranked up and destroy what that edge could do. Oh and get a built trans with the smarty if he plans to crank it all the way up, then he could run mid 13's all day

i agree, the PPE tuner is by far the best tuner you can buy for a diesel. available 10 stages. my buddy has one that is on stage 10 and runs 1000ft-ld but has a few other mods (tranny, torque converter, turbo upgrade, turbo back exhaust stacks, ram air intake, ect)
