46RE Converter?
#2
I would maintain the lockup on the converter for the street... I am thinking if I remember correctly those already have 2200 stall built in... I would probably stay around 2800 or so with the stock cam.

Just remember..... IF you go say a 2800 stall and it does not retain the lockup feature.... if your cruise speed is below the lockup point of the stall then you will tend to overheat the tranny fluid due to excessive slippage..

Go with a 2600 stall for daily driving. Unless your cam is above .600 lift. The gears are already helping. You need to try to match the gears, cam, and converter. I recommend
1-866-309-8200. Ask for robert. Tell him you want the 2400-2600 stall or the 2600-2800. He has good prices and knows his stuff. This applies to the 5.2 and the 5.9.
