Ok I just picked up a 94 dakota slt 4x4 extended cab with 80k on it. I am gonna use it to tow my drag car as well as a dd. I am looking for any advice on how to squeeze a few mpgs out of her as well as a few hp and tq. she is bone stock at the moment. I am thinking new intake,headers, straight pipes with glass packs and maybe a shift kit. other than that I am open for suggestions. any advice or tips would be great.

 

all of those sound like good mods also get a programer i dont know if thy started making a superchips or hypertech after i got rid of my 5.2 but hemifever can set you with a good towing tune with sct..also get on bionicdodge.com there is alot of 5.2/5.9 guys on there and they can help you alot with picking out a good towing pkg
