If the starter relay is jumpered out, the key 'start position' has a direct connection to the starter solenoid like a 1970 Ford. When I removed my factory TCM I had to ground the starter relay that the PCM normally would when it was safe to do so.

UPDATE:

well it was at the dealer they looked at it and told him they didnt find anything wrong other than the PCM no sending signal to the wireing behind the dash IDK what they mean by that but its been a month and after all this BS he is putting back his 03 4.7L feel bad for the guy but he is just fed up with it

new update well after a month later truck finally turned on lol the PCM connectors were dirty

yup $700 dollars later poor guy but now he just needs to find a way to make his ac and radio work oh and his speedo

Def still having some issues put a aftermarket just needs aconstant hot and a ignition wire for that

yeah im sure its because the speedo and the rest was set to his old PCM so now that the new one is in its not reacting to that dealer said it needs a different speedo and programed to it since it controls the ac and radio IDK how lol but we'll see
