LSA is the same. Sorry, I forgot to measure the 5.7 cam today. I'll do it for you tomorrow.

I was one of the turbo "casualties" last June. Poor tuning on my part and a boost controller meant disaster. Someone on another site had purchased a set of stock compression Ross pistons but sold the truck before installing. My block was still intact but lost 5 pistons. A quickie rebuild got me back on the road with the resale of the turbo paying for the cost ( I did all the motor work myself ). I was under a time crunch plus the victim of some defective aftermarket parts ( missing cam alignment pin, backorder valve springs, no forged rods/bolts ) so it went together all stock.
Another member has ordered some custom Ross pistons with a lower CR ( 8.0:1 ) for a friendlier boost motor. Hemidup also sourced some great parts but in the end it costs time and more money than I had last summer. A big thumbs up to the current pioneers tho!

Turbo Casualty - I hear a rendition of Taps playing. I hated reading that had happened to you ktmrider. I have a set of Ross 8.0:1 forged and ceramic coated pistons ordered that should be here in 2-3 weeks too. Rods are on order, just waiting for the 6.1 crank to arrive so we can get the measurements and machine it and have the rods machined too. Decided that since my trucks been down this long it'd be a shame to get it back and in a few months send it back for a forged bottom end or better yet, crank up the boost on the stock bottom end and really tear something up. Now I can put my NX kit back on too.

BTW- Looks like I'm going to have to make some changes to the sig pic I have below... that hp rating isn't going to be close to right

looks good man.

KTM, you should know better than 14.7 being optimal N/A. More like 12.8-13.2 :p

I've heard 12.5-13.5 is best for these trucks N/A, and thats where I am sitting the whole time.

You said it brother! 13:1 gives you while higher gives you
If I ever do get "blown" again it will wire in a wideband O2 to cut power to the computer every time the A/F goes above 13:1

its the yellow with green tracer wire in the harness going to the tranny. it doesnt give you more torque, just lets you use more of what you already have. most guys feel the difference between the 2-3 shift. i felt a difference between the 1-2 and 2-3 shift.
