reliability of the new 5.7 6.1 hemi's??

I'd think once it's broken in it should be safe to switch, say 5-10K miles? Don't know if it would be good to do right away but I've never heard anything about it being bad.

Some say the slipperier(sp) synthetic oils do not promote good new ring seating. I would do the first ( 500 mile ) oil change dino and future ( 3000+ ) synthetic personally.
