$4000, plus shipping, for a brand new 6.1 short block that includes ARP main and head studs.

Are we talking stock 6.1 w/ the above mentioned parts or a reworked short block??? given the current price of just the block that price sounds cheap...

It was a brand new factory stock, 6.1 shortblock that came with a set of ARP head and main studs. It went away to a good home. I just can't remember if it was a 68 or 69 Dart.

speaking of the 6.1 swap. a buddy of mine has one in his garage. i was wondering if the 6.1 pcm can be used. it runs good till it gets ready to shift. it holds the rpms and wont shift. havent figuered it out yet. we are wanting to put in a dual stage nitrous set up but want to get the shifting down first. any ideas? oh yay. it was put in an 04 quad cab. oh yay. is the 6.1 pcm just a shoe in or is there more to it. are all the pin outs the same???

There are a couple of us runing the 6.1 in the Rams but none are using the 6.1 PCM. Have him use the stock PCM but have it reflashed.
