Any problems with 05 Hemi Ram?
My parents are looking into buying an 05 Ram Crew cab with the hemi, and i was wondering if there is anything they should look out for. Any problems they may run in to? The one they are looking at only has 35k miles.
They have an 01 Ram(5.9) now, and for some reason, they are going through brake pads in the front, every 20k miles. Its got 115k miles on it, so they are looking to upgrade anyway.

on the 05 hemi, they had problems with intake crack and egr stuff go bad. other than that, everything should be fine.
even with the problem, should still be under warranty.

I have an 07 Hemi RAM and have no issues with it so far other than the gas mileage is horrific compared to my 99 Z71 that I had. I was getting 11.8 prior to drop in filter and cat back, now I am getting 14.8 on average in town (I don't have any highway miles yet). Of course I only have 2k on the truck and have been told it will go up 1 or 2 MPG after it is broken in.
