Differences between Crew, Quad and Mega cabs?
Can anyone explain the differences between these Dodge cab styles. I know some manufacturers use these 3 terms interchangeably, but Dodge seems to use them all. There must be some difference.

Found this much? Dunno bout the crew
"In addition to the regular cab and Quad Cab (now enlarged and with conventional rear doors) offerings, the Ram 1500 is also available in aptly named "Mega Cab" form. With a cabin stretched 20 inches over the Ram Quad Cab, the Mega Cab provides rear-seat legroom (44 inches) that an NBA center could appreciate. One may choose a short or long bed on the regular and Quad Cabs, while the Ram Mega Cab is short-bed only."

For Dodge, regular cab is just that; Quad Cab is what the extended cabs used to be, but with 4 regular doors for easier access, and mega cab is about the biggest cab you can get with a bed. I've sat in one with the front seats all the way back, then sat behind it and still had almost a foot between my knee and the back of the seat, and I'm 6'2". Dodge's Quad Cab is comparable to GM and Ford extended cabs.

yea the mega cab is a crew cab with like 6" of cab added behind the rear passenger doors if that makes sense. only thing i like about the megacabs is the fender flares on the dually's look pretty cool.

great graphic!
hopefully it didn't take the OP 12yrs to figure it out, though.
another thing (at least with the 1500s) is that with the crew cab, they shortened the bed to keep the same overall truck length as the quad... just like GM did.
