Post Drive shaft troubles!!

I have a 1997 Silverado 1500 extended cab, 3 door 6½ft bed. I did the 4l80 swap and ditched the 4l60. I'm having difficulties with figuring out how to make the drive shaft work

Is your driveshaft not a 2-piece? If 2-piece, is there enough metal on the center carrier bearing to elongate the mounting holes (assuming you have enough adjustability on your slip yoke)?

I did the same swap on my NBS (same configuration as your truck) and those trucks were made with slots on the crossmember where the center carrier bearing bolts to. No driveshaft shortening was required on mine.

Also, not sure why you posted this on the Jeep sub-forum? 🤷
