Pushing for 13's this year, I am really waiting to see what Acctorch runs with the extruded heads pushing 380hp to the tires N/A. We got 600lb's more to push down the track so we need a good 60hp more then a chevy to get the same times.

It's only a matter of time till hemi's are in the 12's too.

going for my 13 second title next time out now imagine if i had a 5.7 ls1 in there to match your cubes. or if i was a scsb not complaining though. my lil ol' 5.3 is holding its own.

now lets sum up my list to the real mods....

intake, ported and polished tb, LT's, full exhaust, electric fans, tuning, 2600 stall. a whopping 7 performance mods still funny? not as big of a list when i dont list out every little componet.

Well after getting my heads done and exhaust I ran a best of 14.6 in the quarter. Now I have heads, 6.1 cam, and a few other tricks I think I can push low 14s and possibly even into the 13s. Will not Know until VMP on the 26th of this month.

All you guys with the so called fast chevy trucks need to quit hiding online and show up at VMP................all I see fast at the track from chevy is cars!!!!!! I have yet seen a fast silverado at the tracks I run at (I know they are out there, just not at the track). I run at Rockingham, Kinston, VMP quite often........either in the truck or car. Never a fast silverado out playing..............a few "L's" from time to time, but the silverados I see run 15, 16 and 17 seconds............I can't even figure why a guy would bring a 4 door 4 wheel drive silverado to the track to race, but they do.....?? Why not stick with tires and lifts!

Now we all know that the burnt orange orange of a Daytona isn't the same burnt orange on little college.

That is what I thought. I am suprised he did not list synthetic wiper fluids or light weight bumper pads.
