Default smashed plugs

ok, so my hemi has 75,xxx miles on it. i put plugs in it at 60k. i put platimuns on the primary coils, and standards in the secondary wires(this motor has 16 plugs, one set fires on the combustion stroke, one set fires on exhaust). well, last night i pulled a check engine light, and she started runnin a little rough. so i pulled over, whipped out my scnanner, and checkeed it out. P0300. random multiple cylinder misfire???? what? so i pull it into the shop today, and go to check the plugs. gap is set at .045. the first plug i pull is cyl 1 secondary plug. the gap was at .010.... not good... i regapped it, and put it in. primary plug cyl 1, .035. ****! gap it and set it in. secondry plug, cyl 2, .040, ok, not bad. set it and put it in. primary plug for cyl 2 SMASHED! the elctrode is pushed all the way in, and the ceramic that is under the electrode is gone. probably in a million different peices in my cylinder by now.

******* wonderful. well, i figure, what the hell, i called up napa and ordered a new set of 8 platinum plugs. gonna throw them in and take it for a test run.
now, here's the kicker, when it started runnin rough, i got out and listened for anthing weird, and couldnt hear any tapping or knocking, so i'm pretty sure the piston didnt hit the plug. plug, there were no marks in the plugs that looks like something hit them, the gap was just almost closed.
oh, and theres one part about the story i didnt say yet that could be the cause. i found a honda prelude with the h22 vtec motor and bolt ons, and ran up up a pretty steep incline to 120. smoked his ***. this could have something to do with it....

Best case scenario: Detonation busted the porcelin and the porcelin pieces between the piston are what closed the plug gap.

yeah, thats what im thinking. just pulled the rest of the plugs. that was the only one with major problems. a few had a smaller gap, but nothing major. waiting on some new plugs to come in, and gonna try it out. im not nearly as worried as i was.

well, i found it out. so, after reverting the programmer to put it back to stock, i hooked it up to my Genisys. the spark advance was at 21 degrees? wait, no, 14, huh 8, 23? 2? 12, 12, 16, 18, 2, 5, 13, you get the idea. this was all at idle. called the dealer, we agreed that it sounded like a PCM. gonna drop it off tomorrow, pay for one hour diagnostic, and have the rest covered under warranty.
