My wife doesn't like the thought of the TBSS's 16mpg hwy. Wait till she finds out the SRT8's mileage.....Better not tell her.
I actually averaged 17.0 on he way back from picking it up. I was very suprised since it is only rated to 15mpg. My speed varied from 70 to 80, average of 75mph. Once I jumped on the freeway I reset the MPG.

My buddy with the TBSS came over to take a look at it and is now actually considering trading in his TBSS. The interior is so much better in the SRT8!

I rode in the jeep and all I can say is wow. I would not race him from a dead stop. It has a hell of a launch

I think you made the best choice. It hauls *** bone stock and that is always a big plus. I would do the same for my wife when she wants to trade her tahoe.

Just test drove one of the SRT8 jeeps today during lunch, and that thing hauls! The interior and navigation were also very impressive. Great choice!

GC SRT-8's do haul *** stock vs. stock - no doubt about it.

And the launches those things have are quite sick. A converter wakes up the TBSS though. I've cut low 1.7's on 275/45/20 yok's, so the TBSS isn't a slouch either. Just gotta toss a little money at it. $3k or so and you're solidly in the mid 12's (or lower as per my sig)

Funny I saw this thread today. Just yesterday I went and looked at a JGC SRT8. I talked with the buy a while about my TBSS and compared... he obviously was biased and had no idea that with such few mods a TBSS will walk an SRT8 for way less money. But I did check out the GC, and I must say the interior is very nice. The seats appear of high quality and has many options available. I really like the Brembo brakes that come on it too

But if it came down to it (getting either or again) I'd probably get another TBSS. I loved mine!

You know, there's all this talk about making the tbss faster then a stock GCSRT8 for less, but the guy I know at the track here with his TBSS, it took heads, cam, converter, headers, intake and a tune, to = what I ran stock with 900km on the OD. Those mods basically nullified the cost difference between the two. He's rebuilding his motor, I think stroking it to a 408, will be curious to see how the two vehicles do as I am planning on a few bolt on's to hit 12's at my elevation by the fall.

Get what you like, but leave this price bullshit out of it.
