Those mods basically nullified the cost difference between the two. He's rebuilding his motor, I think stroking it to a 408, will be curious to see how the two vehicles do as I am planning on a few bolt on's to hit 12's at my elevation by the fall.

Get what you like, but leave this price bullshit out of it.
Something was wrong with "the guy you know's" truck... I ran dead consistant 14.0s bone stock with my TBSS and many run 13.8s. I went to the Super Chevy Show and ran the TBSS with the only modification of adding a used wet kit on it (new it costs $524), no bottle heater nothing but a base kit. Put in only 75 jets and din't have a tune or different spark plugs and ran back to back to back to back 13.1s @ 103-105. Ended up placing and winning some money

So save your price bullshit gripe, that dude's TBSS has something wrong with it. I'm by far not the only one who's spent $500 and ran low 13s high 12s either

Ahh yes, Nitrous does make things fast for cheap. There's more then a few srt8's knocking on 11's with not much more then a large shot. The hemi responds extremely well to Nitrous, a 100 shot will yield nearly 100hp to the tires.

I won't go that route because when the bottle is done, the fun ends, I want the fun 24/7. The standard bolt ons get you low 12's in these, start messing with cam and heads and it's pretty easy to get into the 11's. 10's are the tricky part.

I don't see why you keep stating Hemi's respond extremely well to nitrous because a 100 shot adds 100hp to the tires. I say this because I don't know what nitrous kit has jet's that aren't rated at the rear wheels.

The guy you know with the TBSS can't drive, especially if he's running 13.5's with heads/cam/stall/headers/tune.
