01 GMC Best
#13
I went to Tennessee and picked up a 04 LQ4 6.0 with 30k on it.
Came almost complete.
Ordered:
07 LS2 243s w/ Yellow Springs
44lb injectors
LS6 Oil Pump
LS2 Timing Chain
Electric Cut-Out
14k Tranny Cooler
VIG 3200 stall
The next thing I'll be picking up is my cam and gaskets for the whole motor. ARP Head Studs, and a bunch more ARP bolts for the top end, along with some better Main Rod bolts. Since I'm milling the heads I'll need different push rods.
Then I'll start saving for the FLT Level 5 tranny. When I get that in and the cash for the rear end, I'll tear into the motor and get it Install ready.
I'll have a new motor/tranny/rear end by the time I'm done.

the first 2 or 3 passes i run i'll baby the truck out the hole and down the truck. i want to act like my truck was never changed. THEN, i'll run it like it's built to be ran and BAM i'll see what kind of times i'll get then
then i'll build my work truck, i'm not even going to fix the front end, nor the paint job
