Went out to PIR on the 16th in my '07 Tahoe to get a baseline since I just moved up here. Mods are Jba shorties, Borla catback, Comp 208/212 .554/.558 115, and Blackbear tuned.

I made 9 runs with my best being a 15.3 @93mph all were done in 3rd gear with traction control off and leaving off idle.




I'm happy with the results, now I just have to install my procharger and converter and return next year for some 13's!

Seems pretty quick! What does one run stock?

I never ran it stock, but with a basic 87 tune and the catback it did 16.3 @ 87 at a different track. I would guess mid to high 16's completely stock.

Not bad at all. Best I could get is a 15.2 @ 93 with just headers, intake and a N20 tune. 60shot netted me a 13.9 @ 99.. That charger and stall will help a ton!

Those are some numbers to be proud of! I have a 2004 CCSB Z71 4wd. I wonder how it and your Tahoe compare weight wise?

Thanks guys, 2007chevy5.3L your trucks definitely a beast! did you ever run it with the converter in? LOBO2 I would have to guess we're pretty close in weight.

No times yet with the stall.. My tahoe weighed in at 5380lbs stock on 17s gas tank on E and me in it.

I found an article in Car & Driver from 2004 where they tested a truck identical to mine. They listed it at 5420 #'s without the driver.

If I could get my tank of a truck into the 14.9's I would be thrilled
