fine on the stock tune, not so much after I made changes. I have some traction springs I need to install because too much throttle gave me some nasty wheel hop.

I had a 04 Canyon for about 5 months. I ended up and had to lemon-law it, mine was a major POS. I had the 5cyl with 5spd. It was decently quick in first and second gear, but once into 3rd it was about all it could do to hold it's momentum.LOL That truck had the absolute worse case of wheel hop I've ever seen. I honestly think the rear tires were coming completely off the ground during a burnout.

i had a 5-spd 4 cylinder colorado before this. It was way worse with wheel hop than this one is. But some autozone helper springs fixed that for $25!

Your easy to please. As long as it can do a burnout it must be a good vehicle..

When did they change to a 3.7l? Mine was a 3.5.

'07 they made the bore larger on both engines. Then they made the head flow more, hotter cams...etc

it went from 220 to 242 hp but in reality it was probably more because they did the SAE certification at the same time.
