Default 1/4 mile launch technique ??? 4wd

I'm trying to figure out what the best way to launch is for a 1/4 mile run. I tried it in 2wd and that was a joke. spun way too much, lost over a second compared to my 4wd run. post up your prefered technique. This is all new for me and don't wanna break anything, lol.

oops, i was holding the rpm at 2500. It ran 14.4 according to my gtech. The first 6 sec or so i felt like i was looking at my watch saying "ok, you can go now". then it took off. 0-60 was 6sec flat.

I usually brake stall it to about 1500rpm, leave in 4hi, then hit the button to 2hi as soon as I can. Yeah....I definately can't leave in 2wd!

Ive been launching in 2wd and managed to cut a 1.9 60'
Im runnin quicker times and dont have many problems with traction letting the rears down to 20 psi.

Why do you guys have so many traction problems? Do they prep the track you run at?

Try doing this with a stick shift and manual 4wd. I feel like a like a woman on a stairclimber.
