Default 1/4 times from Sealy

Ran the truck in the 1/4 last night and ran a best of 14.68@89.5. Backed that up with two runs at 14.73@92.5. Below is the times off the slip. If I can get that 60' down consistently I should be able to keep the times down some. A little extra time behind the wheel and I've started learning what the truck likes. Knocked another .3 off the 1/8 times from Friday night.

60 - 2.17
330 - 6.09
1/8 - 9.38
1/8 mph - 75.2
1000 - 12.19
1/4 - 14.68
1/4 mph - 89.5

60 - 2.22
330 - 6.17
1/8 - 9.48
1/8 mph - 74.7
1000 - 12.30
1/4 - 14.73
1/4 mph - 92.8

60 - 2.19
330 - 6.15
1/8 - 9.47
1/8 mph - 74.5
1000 - 12.3
1/4 - 14.73
1/4 mph - 92.5

well sounds like you need a tune and a converter to get out of the hole, nice times.

nobody there....you could run whenever you wanted to, it was great. So I'd run, then let it sit for 30 minutes or so and run again. Never had to wait more than about 5 or 10 minutes to run.

What happened to your speed limiter cutting off at 85 mph?

Cool, we'll have to meet up there some time. It took close to an hour to get through the staging lanes last saturday. Are you going to try some mods now or just keep dialing in what you have?

speed limiter cuts it off at 95, not 85.....almost on it.

I'm going to be getting a tune so I can run with the 18's next time out. I'm thinking shaving 40-45lbs off each tire/wheel should help wake it up considerably.

From there I'll redo the exhaust so that it is a true dual with a good flowing muffler, then possibly long tubes after that. Still debating on a +2 pulley, but that may end up on the list at some point in the near future.
