i thought that wheel change would help, when i first ran my truck on the 20's, it went 14.5, they weigh around 80 pounds, my dragradials and 15" rims weigh 42 i think, still went 14.5, crazy huh??

that doesn't make any sense.....anytime you get rid of rotating mass it should help considerably. By considerably I mean going from a tire/wheel that's 120lbs, to one that's 60lbs should knock of atleast a tenth or two if you can make it hook up. It's simple physics, it robs more power when spinning heavier wheels. Just like on an engine it takes less power to spin billet pulleys than stock steel ones because they weigh less.
Are you spinning or is it hooking good? Did you 60' times drop with the switch to the dr's? If you're 60' is the same, then something isn't right. From looking around your 60' should be well under 2.0 especially with the MT dr's. I know they hook if you're suspension is transfering the weight like it should.

my joe gibb 20's weigh 85 pounds roughly, my drag rim set up weighs 40-45, thats 40 pound reduction, i eventually did lower the et, but when i did this, i ran on the 20's, hooked, threw on the slicks, hooked, same time again, go figure

lighter tires and wheels will help,but you also have to figure the weather differences from 1 time to the other.weather has a HUGE effect on your times.Thats why I like running n the winter after halloween time,unless you run nitrous,then it is a different story!!
