If I don't get a 6.0L soon I'm going to get on the path for the 5.3L record. You're just making it harder for me. I admire your work though. I know that with my current setup if I go to a 3600 stall, long tubes, and some 26" tall slicks with a 4.10 gear I can get into the 12's. From there I have some work to do. What intake and heads are you running? I'm thinking that if I don't end up with an L76 truck intake (6.0L swap) I'm going to go with a 2007' up intake with the 4 bolt throttle body. I'm thinking they flow decent with a throttle body size gain. I'd like to add L33 pistons with my smaller chamber heads milled .015 also if I keep the 5.3L.

nice v8! we finally got a guy yesterday that got his 4.8 down to a 13.0 pass at 104mph... i finally got down to 13.3's myself. We're going to figure out what else we can do to get them a little closer to the 5.3 n/a times... the guy that made the 13.0 pass was on a 2.2 60ft so it could be faster and it was like 4700 lbs... i think he wants to try out some trick flow heads and i'll probably have my heads worked over and try out a new cam and then we'll see where were at.
that bar just keeps getting higher and higher, lol next time i get into the 12's n/a you'll have an 11 sec pass, lol!

hahaha I might but it get harder and harder to get lower, the only other thing I could do is get a stage two head combo.
Nice times on the 4.8 and mph.
