Default 12.4@115

I got a new best last night..

Wired up the extra fuel pump and put the slicks on.
First pass was a 13.6@107 she left sluggish and sputtered with the rich/low timing

Got the tune leaned out and it went a
1.96 60'
8.1@94
12.4@115

funniest part was there was a older guy that saw my first pass and come over to me and asked if i wanted to run his truck.. i said sure.
he went and unhooked from his trailer and we went to the line.

apparently he didnt see the slicks, even tho i was still running the buckshots up front.

He went a 15.8 and said he was spraying it....

one thing thats killing me is when i have my cutout open it starts out at ~5psi thru first gear till bout 5000 and it ramps up to 10psi and after the 1-2 shift at 6200 it falls back down to 4750 and boost is still goin up thru the shift to 13psi and holds that out till the end nice and smooth.
i left the line at 2500rpms and 1psi.. and i have 5psi by 2900rpms..
so first gear is non evenful.. but once it hits 2nd gear it fills silly.

i tried the stalling it up and letting off the throttle and hammering on it, it helped build boost faster.

i only got 2 runs in before the closed. but im really happy.

i towed my buddys 98 rc 5.3 turbo truck up there and back. only got 9mpg tho cause we were playing in boost just about the whole way there.

84# injectors saw 141% idc at the top of 2nd gear.

need the 105# injectors and finish tuning it.. AFR is pretty close, but timing is really low for some reason. i really like the 115mph.. last best was 12.5@111 with the rear mount spraying 50 shot spooling up.

no weight reduction except taking my duffel bags out of the tool box.. prolly 150+ pounds of tools and straps and stuff..

2004 LQ4
Isky 215/215 .566/.566 114
BW S475 83mm 1.0AR
stock 4L80E with stock TC
3.42s
28x10 hoosier slicks
265/70/17 buckshots up front

cab full of junk

IATs started out at 95* from heat soak peaked at 140*
spraying a DO10, DO14, & D07 GPH meth nozzles 100% methanol
meth ramp rate is 10% at 2psi - 100% 15psi

averaged 3.5* timing from the time it shifted 2-3 till trap

I think its your wastegate setup that's making your boost funny by different gears. It's not setup for flow in the crossover to push on the face of the gate. Just back pressure

Congrats Nonnie! Really starting to move now! Love that mph. There is a whole slew of "fast" new factory hot rods that you would kick the dog sh.t out of from a dig or a roll!

You really need to put some timing in it, unless you have incolnel exhaust valves!
