13.14 in 2700 da
CAM ONLY
track temp 120 degrees
track weight with me in it 4600 lbs
those were my times
cut the same 60 foots 1.73-.75
1/8 mile was 8.2-8.3s
1/4 mile was all 13.1x and two 13.21s
i think with some front suspension work
lower it 2 inch
and some better shocks
will allow me to hook up a lil better instead of having so much lift
change the shift points with supechips cuz of the converter blowing by the shift points unless i buy a sonnax and shift kit
valve body might help?
the ported throttle body had more throttle response off the line i do miss that might do a 84 mm throttle body
sort of a check list for me
everything i have done in the last three times to the tracks have continued to improve the my 1/4 mile
i have a 12.7 in this set up in the right da

my buddy has a hemi ram single cab with a 273 cam and 2200 stall and headers, tuned with a diablosport very poorly.
I know his truck has more potential. I need to get him to the track to get some times
he wants me to do some tuning on it, i see you use superchips. i may see if he wants to get that instead of the diablo

yea he has to manually shift his at 7k since he has no tranny tuning
from a roll it pulls so hard but from a dig it needs more stall i guess.
whats the reputation for the 273 cam?

the hemis are 5 speed autos
the 273 is a very high rpm cam it actually started out on a 114 lsa then they had to had 3 more lsa to make it a 117 lsa and needs a higher stall like a 3400 or higher
the comp 268 actually proudces more power then the 273 up to 6000 rpms and then the 273 take it from there
the truck intake manifold stop producing power at 5800 rpms do to its dumb design

yea he said he just picked the biggest cam. DOH!
He is not real car smart i guess you can say so im trying to help him out and get his truck set up good since its a dog pile now.
it may be worth it to throw in a different cam since he allready decided no bigger stall.
