AWESOME! Just imagine, a WRX thinking it will take you without a doubt. F-ing awesome. That's not even a sleeper...it's a snoozer.

Where did you guys run at? Port Orchard (Bremerton Raceway)? Raining and sprinkling huh? LOL NO WAY?!?! Sorry, did my tour on Nimitz/Bremerton.

Great ride CHarris, don't worry about blasting funny gas through it...great times!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It's been a lot of work to get it to where it is. It's gonna go deeper into the 13's, but I'm not sure how far yet. Every new milestone is getting harder to reach and without some big time backing $$$ I'm not as willing to take big gambles with expensive parts. We've got several more mods on the short list of things to do that should yield some very good gains.

First among those is a new torque convertor. My restalled 2400 isn't up to the task any more. Also, a bottle heater would be nice as I was running bottle pressure very low. Those are easy. The others aren't.

Then comes the question of cylinder heads. Too soon to call on that one.

Wouldn't it look funny on some little ol' 30's? I think 33's are as small as I can go and still respect myself...

(For those who don't realize it... the stock tires are between 34 and 35 inches tall).

Besides... why would I want to reduce 99lbs or rotating weight per wheel/tire?

my 265/75/16's are 30.5" tall. These are 1 size up from stock. I was running 295/75/16's were 32.5" tall.

What difference in times did you see with the different sized tires DanaliHD? I will be turning 255/65/16's this week at the track. They are just about 3 inches shorter than my stocks and weigh in about 25lbs less per wheel. Curious about how different my times will be.

BTW, that Hummer is VERY impressive Charris! I want one now!

Tough call. I went from 13.79 to 13.35 but that was with increasing the amount of methanol too.
