Truck was running real good yesterday man, sounded evil too.

Video I was able to grab of the first 11 sec. pass.
2008 Sierra-11.95 - YouTube

Not long after you left I went to make another pass and my starter died, had to get towed outside the gate, and wait for my Dad to come down with my box of tools and a starter. That was a fun swap in the dark/cold.

Good runs man! Welcome to the 11 sec club. You might have to add screws/tubes if you want to control those slicks better.

dan, was good to see you down there. Didn't know where you were when we took off, I had dinner reservations in atlantic city so I had to go back home to drop the truck off to ultimately come right back past the track again haha. Dude thats fucked up with your starter! Last week my truck wouldn't start down there, banging on it some I got it started then just left it running in the lanes

Thanks bud. All I gotta say is I'm glad I wasn't on tubes because I would have been in trouble. I spun the tires on rims so bad the first run there was rubber balled up around the whole bead. I thought I fuct the tires up but I'm pretty sure they are now glued to the wheels haha. I know tubes will stiffen the sidewalls but il decide on that next year.

Yeah man I can't wait to see yours in action. Did you end up getting any good clean runs in the old truck?

I guess my cleanest one was the one that I finished with only 7 cylinders lol, but still managed a 12.0 at 116. Theres still more in yours I'm sure...always improvements to be had over the first trip to the track with a lot of power.

Congrats on 11's! Thats awesome! Imagine if you had a little more displacement under the hood...

Dan what was your best run of the day? I think you should pick up some 243's, a NNBS intake and retune for 93 to go for some 12's. With those mods I think you would make it petty deep into the 12's seeing as you ran 13.1x last year.
