Default **Updated**1st NBS Sierra Denali in the 13's

Well I think it is anyway...

Updated 10-24-07 from my original post .... New runs from Belle Rose, LA.

I really couldn't ask for more outta a crew cab/part time tow ride...

1st run...13.91@100.55mph w/2.16 60'... Booyahh on dat trap speed I said!
2nd run...13.90@100.02mph w/2.19 60'...hot lap...
Last run...13.87@99.91mph w/2.10 60'...more finesse on the 60'

Time for slicks.....

Temps were 62* on the 1st run and 55* on the last run...

The video link below sums it all up (broadband only) Cheers!

__________________________________________________ _________________________________________________

My very 1st run was a 14.03@99.49mph w/2.17 60'. Almost **** myself...had no idea my crew cab would be trapping at dang near 100mph.

2nd run was 14.02@99.26 w/2.14 60'. That mean sounding single cab HEMI I dusted came over to give me props.

3rd run was 13.98@98.98mph w/2.13 60'.

Temps around low 70's I guess....

High 13's on 3 mods... Intake, Exhaust, and HPTuners...

I threw on the stock 18's for the track, had to walk her out the hole. The 22's I have are OEM Esky wheels i'm sure they would have hooked better, but hurt once up and running.

If I can get that 60' down a little maybe I can run a 13.8 maybe 13.7 if temps cool... "it's ok to dream"...hahaha

Thanks guys....

My goal "was" to have this thing running 13's and still be under warranty. Mission accomplished....I can always load the stock tune for service.

New goal is to continue learing more about tuning and try to get my traps up to 100mph on the same mods. I'm so close 99.49mph. Errr!!!!! I'll just play around with diff intakes, tune tweaks, and exhaust sizes since i'm so close...My truck only has 5,000 miles i'm sure she will get a little stronger...can't wait till we get some cooler temps...

Tundra's beware...LOL!

Very nice times Mark! Can't wait to get mine to the track. We only have an 1/8th mile up here. Maybe during christmas when I am back in Houston, I can run over to HRP and we can line them up.
