Default 2 runs down the strip

Just got home from the race track and wanted to share my times

closed cutout
60ft: 2.19
330: 6.06
1/8: 9.28
MPH: 67.05
1/4: 14.23
MPH: 98.45

VS

open cutout
60ft: 2.18
330: 6.07
1/8: 9.19
MPH 78.92
1/4: 14.21
MPH: 99.09

On my second run (the open cutout one) I felt it had some traction issues like from 2,500 rpms all the way to second gear, which lead to my trucks tail going side to side, oh and both runs i had some 275-60-15 nitto drgs 28" diameter mounted on some 15x10s. Mods are in sig. Thanks for looking

Thanks for the replys, cool 13s are around the corner then. Best time has been a 14s flat, my goal was to go 13.9s with a bone stock engine and tranny, no pulley, stall, shiftkit nor servo...but I guess a stall converter should do the trick, what kind of verter are you guys running, and are you happy with it?

You mph definatly could get you into the 13s. Maybe take a hundred or two pounds out. The simple stuff, spare, extra crap. 14.2 at 96.9 is my best time with a 60 ft. of 2.00x. Nice times.

vortec-dude, what gears are you running? And who tuned your truck? Just wondering. I'm finally gonna get a 1/4 mile # on November 13th!! Btw did you ever run your truck with the factory tire/wheels before the drag radials? That's what I've been running(17's). Congrats on the runs.

Double checked the timeslip and yes its correct, seems kinda low hugh. Although i did launch at a lower rpm than the open cutout run, dont know if it affects it.

so far i have taken out the spare tire, spare tire hitch, and tailgate when i race, plus the 15s save up to 45lbs of mass rotation. Those are some good 60ft # for a rclb, i have still yet to see a 2.O0
