Thanks guys. It has been fun thus far. To answer some specific questions:

I spin the fronts on a N/A launch. Any nitrous at launch is devistating to the 60ft times and overall ET...not to mention the drivetrain. I am running a 9.5" 3400 stall PI converter that I sent back for a restall 2 "steps" higher. Each step is about 4-500RPMS. This converter now flashes to 4500 on a N/A launch which is not N2O friendly however that is what I was looking for. I rarely spray the truck so I was looking for N/A fun.

Yea, I hear ya. This track event was on a whim...I went to the track and the family went to church...I am sure one way or another I will pay for it

what tires. an et street on each corner would probably cure those traction issues.

M&H Drag Radials on all 4. The issue is in getting the right amount of heat equally in all 4 to make them stick. Sure a quick burn-out can be done but it is fairly useless turning over the tires for only a second or so. It is also not that friendly to the drivetrain.

I am sure suspension upgrades will help a ton however I am not interested in a drag truck. I like it the way it is.

Congrats Krambo,I had heard you ran this time and was waiting to see it online. Looks like we have 2 10 sec SS's now! Glad to see it all come together the way you wanted! Surprised I didn't see a thread on SS.com about it yet tho.

It is a 28" tall M&H Drag Radial on a 1999-2002 Aluminum 16 inch Silverado 1500 wheel.

My truck is finally starting to get really close,I have just been trying to get every little thing perfect so I don't have to tear into it again soon after it's done. I should have it fired up in the next couple weeks and then maybe some low boost shakedown passes before I try to turn it up and join you and chase in the 10 sec. SS club!
