200 shot on the 408

CONGRATS, Really great run and MPH. I think you could probably use a progressive controller on your Nitrous and have more off the line and not spin. ( I think ) Set it for maybe 65 % and the other 35 % kicking in at the 1 second or 2 second mark. Just an Idea.
You probably don't remember me. I first posted on Silverado SS only I have a RCSB. Took the 4.3 out and changed to a 6.0 , First motor spun cam and rod bearings..... second motor built by a race shop spin 2 rod bearings after 45 miles. and finally I sent it to LME in Houston, Tx. Now I have a 410 Stroker with 11 to 1 compression. With my heads probably 10.6 . Also if you do remember it was Carbed. Am redoing fuel system now, will have Aeromotive A1000 pump and 2 regulators with a bypass return regulator.
Am hoping for 11's on the motor. and if I'm lucky high 10's with the nitrous. Will try up to 250 shot.
Again great run I'm sure you will get more out of it.

Do you know what kind of power you are making N/A? This has gotten me extreamly excited to get my 408 running! It was built for a 350 shot but I plan to start around 100 and move up from there.
Edit: It is a little late now but some bias tires and you would have a much better chance of hooking. Obviously then drivetrain would become an issue. The has a 65E and a 12r/10f bolt? I am asking with an educated guess but could be horribly wrong.

so how did this combo do on motor? i have a setup going together that is VERY close to yours. 11.5:1 408 with ls6 heads. 247/255 112 cam and fast intake and ready for nitrous. pretty dang close huh lol. i do have taller gears and a looser converter though. it's 4.30 gears and a 4200 converter (that was made for a 6.0)...shift recoveries N/A on the 6.0 was 1k rpm on the dot.

lol, i doubt it will stall that high. it may see 4700ish on the dope. only time will tell. if it's too loose, i will just have it tightened. it felt great behind the 6.0 though.
