Zex is well known for not making good products.
The "control box" quickly turns into pretty purple nut and bolt tray for your work bench.
You would be leaps and bounds ahead to order a nice set of noids from Harris speed works. I paid $90 ish about a year ago for my noids and it would be a great $ spent buy you.
If you look around on ls1tech you will see Zex isn't liked much. It isn't because they are purple. It is because there kits aren't worth the cost of an on line manual.

They work but not for long. There stuff just isn't quality.
Go look around tech and see what reactions you get. Just about everyone will tell you to get rid of it. Generally you can save some money going with Harris or NO too. Better quality, best customer service in the world, and a far superior product.
For the most part you should be able to just get rid of the box and use a pair of high quality noids and be back in business.
Any nitrous kit properly jetted to 150 should drop around 1.5 sec. Problem is, what kit will do it for a long time, with out any problems.
