Any updates? I just went to the track last weekend and another R/T ran 14.4 with the Diablo but he hit the rev limiter because he was trying to shift manually. The DA that day was +3000 at the CA Speedway.

That DA is a killer. I ran at 3k+ earlier this year and was in the same range(before the truck was broke in, and on 87).
My 13.7 run was on 93, you guys can't even get that in socal, right?
I'm hoping to get to the track once more before things close down for the winter.

My brother in law has 2 dakota R/Ts. Or he did until Friday, they were gone this weekend and came back to find one stolen. The other one is a long term 408 twin turbo project.

I'm gonna get back to the track in another couple weeks, but I'm still bone stock. I'm gonna try to launch a little different to see if I can hit a 13.6x.

4.10s in the R/T only.
Dodge hasn't exactly been forthcoming with info, but my guess is somewhere around 2800. I can brake stall it up to 2500.
The problem with these trucks is the torque management out of the hole. It's not even funny how completely de-tuned it is from a dig. Just now some tuners are coming out that can completely get rid of it, but then the trans is on borrowed time. I'm pretty happy with it as it is right now, even if it is a dog(for a 390hp/407ftlb truck) out of the hole.

What's a Tundra guy doin on the Dodge forums?!?
That converter might be from the Cherokee SRT8. As far as a 6 speed (& 6.1) that's like hopin for GM to do a 6.2 6 spd. RCSB. Cause like stock 48 said, all they seem to care about is the Vette & Camaro. And how many trucks are sold vs. Vettes & Camaros combined? Exactly.

The Ram will never have the same kind of choices that GM guys have. But the options are there to easily get this truck into the 12s.
Tuning isn't great, but it isn't non-existent. There are a handful of shops local to me that can tune these trucks.
