Id like to be in the 12's with my 2000...then if I save my pennies and get the 6.0 put together the way I want, low 11's...to be honest tho, Id just like to drive it again!

lmao I wish. I'd say as it sits now (depending on how close my tune is, will find out once wideband gets here) I would think 13.5 -13.3 area. But If I put out the subs, MAYBE back seat, tailgate, and swap back to my stock 16" allum wheels with the slicks, I should be low low 13s.

If only you could figure out how to get that thing to hook up John. How do you plan on pushing it into the 10s? The 370 you're having so much fun building?

You are either being modest or you are a moron . I went 14.06 on almost stock everything with hardly any timing. You've got a 228r cam and 4000 stall. I've seen your logs. Your motor is running great. No question whatsoever you're in the 12s.

Oh, and I'm still planning on using the stock 80e converter.

My converter isn't as loose as you might think. Anyone that's driven it say's it isn't a bad DD at all. It does flash up pretty good with a lot of throttle, but it doesn't have that really hard hit that a looser STR converter would have. I'd love to swap in a looser stall for the track, but this one does just fine on the street, which is where I do 99% of my driving.

No denying the moron part, but I do not expect 12s out of my truck without A LOT of work. I'd have to have a perfect tune, perfect weather and DA, perfect traction, and a strong fuel pump. This ones got 134,000 miles on it, and is giving me problems below 1/4 tank of gas, so it might be holding me back some.

I'm going to the 1/8th mile track on the 15th, so I'll have a good base number for 2010 by then.

You guys must not have many 1/4 tracks down there? Almost every single time I see out of Texas people is 1/8th. Luckily for me, I have a NHRA track 10 minutes from here

We have one in Ennis, which is about an hour from the DFW area (add an extra 45 min for me now that I moved), and we have another one out east of Dallas, but that is also about 45 minutes. The 1/8th mile track is a lot more convenient and less crowded for the most part.
