Default 2010 Turbo 4.8 New best

Edit - Added video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o82n5Wled4Q

Went to Island Dragway yesterday and ran a new best. Been having software (not tuner) issues with hp tuners so I've been limited to 12psi for now on my MP76 remote mount setup. I was initially use a 60 shot out of the hole only, but decided to spray an 80 shot the whole way down.

4.8 Short Bed, regular cab 1500
Running a stock th400 trans with a transgo pro kit.
3500 jegs sbc nitrous converter
MP76 12psi (twin 255's, 80# injectors)
3.42 gears (stock g80 diff)
LS2 cam/springs
80rwhp jetting of nitrous (complete pass)
28x9 goodyear slicks on isuzu 6 lug wheels

I built it up to 7 psi, and then hit my nitrous switch before I leave. Any more boost and it spins. Gonna try some different things next time out.
1.65 60'
11.54
117mph

I don't have my slip on me, but I believe I went 93 in the 1/8th.

Truck was really lean at the end of the track (i blame my nitrous fuel jetting), and when it goes lean we have it pulling timing out from a max of 16 degrees, so timing was probably pretty low also.

I had 3 gallons of race fuel (110) mixed with about 4 gallons of pump 93.

I am going to be tuning the boost once our software issues are taking care of. I've had it up to 16 and its been fine, but the computer commands a 12.4 all of a sudden (any boost above 12psi) from a commanded a 11.29. The maf table has been scaled also, so its not seeing any max signals that we know of.

Congrats man. When I first got into the truck scene, ls engines, this was unheard of with a 4.8. Now it seems almost regular guys going in the 11's with the lil 4.8's..

I swear I just saw your truck on youtube for the first time a few hours ago. I didn't even know you was on here. That burnout vid is pretty sick. Awesome times btw.

Thanks man. This truck does some nasty burnouts, Ill admit and I've had alot of decently fast **** to. My odometer says "609 miles" and my rear tires are half worn. It sounds nice with no bov also, I just let it compressor surge grand national style. I'd like to reroute the wastegate into the exhaust so its just straight turbo noise at full throttle instead of the wastegate screaming.

I just jammed two pumps in the fuel assembly some how. Teed them together, and ran them to the factory inlet at the top of the hat with submersible fuel hose. It throws a voltage code but its fine. I blocked off what looked to be some sort of a pressure bleed, I thread it with a 1/2" bolt thread tap (not pipe), and threaded a bolt in snug with teflon tap on it--becareful its plastic. I wish I could find the pictures.

Edit--found one. It was a hacked up mess but thats how I like to do things. Make sure you clamp everything, I learned the hardway and had to get a tow back to my friends garage lol.

I basically ruined the assembly and used alot of zipties, but its never coming apart again Im leaving it in the truck when I turn it to stock.

Where did you get that double pump retaining assembly in the bucket, did you make it yourself?
