kevin (v8) used to run those on stock aluminum wheels and he could pull 1.6's on them,,, i have always ran those slicks on a 16x10 and hooked very well, but if i was you i would go with the 16x8 for the piece of mind...

i ran on kevins set on stock wheels and hooked just fine.

Does any body know a rim with close to 6.5 back sapcing in 16'' rim besides bogars? I just wanna get one as close to that bs

if your not 10" wide, you may not need 6.5" BS.

I pulled a 1.57 just this past Saturday on a cold but prepped track with 28x10x16 Hoosiers on stock 7" alloy silvy wheels.



Not the ideal wheel for the tires but they work.
