Man that is really interesting way to compare things, i like that... So you did no other tuning inbetween? I dunno, definately seems like something happened inbetween those two logs...

Did you filter WOT only?

Yeah that's WOT only. Only some low end timing changes and shift points. That 'post gear' run was the best MPH so far with the truck.

How much do those tires and wheels weigh? I used to have some 20's that weighed 90+ each and when I switched to factory 16s, both were the same height tire, it felt like I added 20hp..

1100DA difference between runs is night and day IMO...
A perfect example is the day before yesterday it was about 65* out and my truck reallllly likes the cool temp. From a dead stop I can roast them no problem into second. Today I tried the same thing and it spins a little then gets traction, but it's 82* out and more humid than AIDS

I'm sure that they are close to 90lbs. As I said with my truck adding 30lbs per wheel was worth .1 in the 60' and .4 and 3mph in the 1/8, and they were about a half inch difference in height. The wheels and tires that IH8FORD is putting on his for next weekend should be around 50lbs and 5 inches shorter.

Well, rule of thumb says .1 in the 1/4 for every 1000'. In my experiences air temp itself made more of a difference than overall calculated DA. Which would say that I think 15 degrees would be worth more than just a tenth.

I think you should run it in some cooler weather and see how it goes. I ran my best full bolton time the week before they closed the track for winter. I went back in late spring to mess around with some friends and ran 3/10 slower. About 35* difference in temp.

Sorry I still think your convertor is to tight and you need a higher stall.
