Turbogibbs ran LOW 13s with his magnacharged 4.8 a few years ago. I drove it and the 2-3 shift is ridiculous when trying to shift fast
I wouldnt worry about the clutch, he would dump it on slicks from 3500rpm and he was putting down almost 500rwhp and somewhere near there tq wise.
Id definitely do the 6.0 first though.

A friend borrowed my slicks and went a 10.0's in the 1/8thbone stock 4.8 5 speed with a mild tune.
