I just built a similar 355 with ported vortec heads, 10.2cr, Isky 225/.539" 750dp made 458/475lbs went 12.20 in a 4000lb 1970 long bed. You Should get into the 12's no prob if your setup is right. 3.73-4.10 gear, 3k verter, and 28" Et streets would be a good setup. Id swap that edelbrock for a holley 750dp.

I have a 4200ish # truck. 2800 stall(3300 or so on nitrous), 100 shot off the line, open exhaust with stock cats, on slicks and have ran a best of 13.4@100. On the juice I should have around 425 hp so I would guess you would be in that range. 12s aren't out of the question but they should be a goal and be very happy if you hit them. I would say low 13s are more realistic. 13.1-13.3 is what I would expect. Set your goal reasonably high and possibly be let down, set your goal at 13.1 and be extremely excited if you hit it or go faster!

The lack of converter may keep you from those times. Event my mild converter helps me with a few tenths alone for sure. So you may want a converter and then 12s shouldn't be any problem. Again still stick with 13.1 goal if it were me. The track is a heart breaker more often then not so don't get your hopes too high is my point.

I'm in the process now of building a th700r4 with a 3000-3200 stall, will be running either mickey thompson et streets or nitto drag radials, and also i will be putting on a nitrous kit with either 75 shot or 100. Just wondering how it would run on motor before I ran it on juice.

Your best bet being a truck is ET-streets. Drag radials are hard to make hook especialy with you wanting to run so much hp and some juice on top of it. You will have a VERy hard time if it is possible to get a set of radials to hook. You certainly won't run the juice off the line with them. I invite you to prove me wrong but I don't see a bit or a chance.

Good luck and sounds like you will have a beast on your hands.
