Just rolled in from a fun day at the track. Lots of nice trucks there! The TV show TRUCKS was also there with the cameras and the Lightning and 454SS they built recently. Figured I'd post up some pictures.

I ran mine. Pitiful performance. Mid 90's and 80% humidity. I didn't even break 12's. Still tuning, no nitrous and no methanol until the last couple passes. Pig rich.

Anyway.

Nice, I've been wanting to check out that shootout for a few years now, maybe next year.

 

Whats going on in Oct? London is only a couple hours from me so it wouldn't be a big deal to make an event down there. A nice track and very well run. The short shutdown area will get your attention! Anything very fast better stick to 1/8 mile.

This is the second 454 club event I've attended. This was by far the biggest. It was very nicely done.

Ah.... that's the LSX shootout. Thats in Memphis, TN. I'd love to attend that event but don't think I'll be able to swing it this year.

 

i have been wanting to make it to an SS shootout for a few years now but something always comes up. maybe i'll make it out after the new motor, trans, etc gets in it.

i thought the whole reason Trucks took those 2 trucks out there was to race them and see which one won....thats what was posted on the 454ss website a while back anyway.
