Weather similiar, I thought u were gonna say I picked up "x" MPH & lowered ETs to "Y". A correlation betw. the 2. Given your mods, I hoped you'd see improvements.

Isn't 1 MPH roughly 10 hp gained? I'm no racer & haven't been to track in a few yrs, but .3-.5 sound right? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I figured you'd lose time due to 80E 1st gear & it's weight/ rotating guts, but gain w/. other stuff, esp. the Yank. Less strain on motor w/. efans. Little things contribute on anyone's mods.

There haven't been any power improvements since the last time at the track, besides the Efans, which wasn't much at all. In fact, last time I had no catback on, I probably lost power with the stock catback. Just for fun I stuck in the stats into a HP estimator, 4850 weight with me in it (I'm 180) and the 97.81 trap speed shows 351 rwhp.

Gearing of the 80E generally improves trap speed, E-fans usually pick up some, Bigger headers, catless Y, 3600 conveter vs stock. You should have picked up more than that IMO... Was the weather comparable? You're also in need of that wideband and a tuner.

I'd say the weather was very comparable.

You know shoulda/coulda/woulda but it didn't. Why, I don't know.

The tune as it sits is pretty decent. Getting 24.5 degrees of timing with no knock.

Yeah, it was the crossmember, it was angled downwards and also the trans mount was allowing a lot of movement. I put my 4l60e one on there and it's much stiffer.
