5.3 to 6.0 times..
I'm picking up a lq4 this friday, going to call texas speed and order a cam and tune.
my truck runs the 1/8 at 8.8 now with a 1.82 60'. its a RCSB 5.3 sierra, LTH,3500 stall 4:11, tru trac, cai, built trans. it just flat out falls on its face with the stall. How much time should i pick up with the 6l? I'm going to run a very agressive cam..

im gunna say you will pick up .8 to the 1/4, were your at your looking at close to 1 tenth for ever 10hp ruffly, id say a 60hp gain with the swap and if you up the cam maybe 80hp.

We only have a 1/8 mile track around here, they tore memphis down
I'm wanting to atleast go 8.0-8.10s on the motor in the 1/8
It already runs 8.8 in the 1/8 with a stock 5.3. and I've taken prolly 70-100pounds off/out of the truck. I'm just trying to get an ideal of were I should be, got alot of mustang buddies running 8.40s if you can see were I'm getting at with this... lol
