'92 Sierra with forged 347 1/8th times
Went back out Thursday with mixed results.
I had the 28x10.5 slicks on. First time at the line, didnt do that much of a burn out. Tried stalling it up and they spun on the line. Launched easy and got a sucky 8.5@ 86.
Lowered the pressure the next run to 15psi, heated them up more and came out a little harder; ran 8.0. Didnt get the slip.
Came around again and heated them up more; went WOT immediately; haulin as against a turbo Honda running 7.8 before and was ahead then
Fell on its face and coasted. Fuel pump quit. Not sure if anything is hurt yet as I didnt feel like messing with it.
It had 7.90's, maybe 7.80's in it w/o too much more. May try and get back in a week or so. This was just a used Zex kit. I need to get the real system on with the 200 shot and see if I can get below 7.5
Set up is an iron block 347, Patriot heads 72cc, 8.8:1 compression, 218/224 cam, 3200 Vig, 3:73's. Motor is set up for turbo.

Great times Billy! I bet it sure felt good to be back at the track didn't it. It's so funny to watch a honda doin a burnout on front slicks.

The cam I have is pretty small. The motor is set up for a turbo application and didnt want much cam. I got the truck going again, so I will be at the track next week. I will try and gets some video too. If I have time, I am changing the nitrous system and going with a 200 shot. I also need a driveshaft loop; just dont want to do any pole vaulting.
